The All Compassionate (Al-Rahman)
78 verses, revealed in Medina after Thunder (Al-Ra'ad) before The Human (Al-Insan)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ (Allah) Most Gracious! 1 who taught the Quran -- 2 He created the human being 3 and has taught him intelligible speech. 4 The sun and the moon are scheduled. 5 And the herbs and the trees do prostrate (to Him). 6 He raised the sky and set the Balance 7 In order that you may not corrupt the balance. 8 And establish weight in justice and do not make deficient the balance. 9 And the earth! He hath lain it out for the creatures. 10 Therein are fruit and palm-trees sheathed. 11 and grains with their husk and fragrant plants. 12 Which of your Lord's wonders would you deny? 13 He created man of clay like, unto pottery. 14 and has created the jinn from the flame of fire. 15 So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? 16 [He is] Lord of the two sunrises and Lord of the two sunsets. 17 Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny? 18 He has set flowing two seas that appear to meet. 19 There is a barrier between them. They encroach not (one upon the other). 20 (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors of your Lord do you then deny? 21 From them come forth the pearl and the coral. 22 Which, then, of the benefits of your Lord will ye twain belie? 23 To Him only belong the sailing ships, raised above the sea like hills. 24 (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors of your Lord do you then deny? 25
