The All Compassionate (Al-Rahman)
78 verses, revealed in Medina after Thunder (Al-Ra'ad) before The Human (Al-Insan)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ The Beneficent 1 It is He Who has taught the Qur'an. 2 Has created Prophet Mohammed (peace and blessings be upon him) as the soul of mankind. 3 Taught him the mode of expression. 4 The sun and moon revolve to a computation; 5 The stars and the trees prostrate. 6 And the heaven He has raised high, and He has set up the Balance. 7 In order that you may not corrupt the balance. 8 Give just weight and do not skimp the scales. 9 He spread out the earth for the people. 10 There exists all kinds of fruits, palm-trees with sheathed blossoms, 11 And grain having husks and scented plants. 12 (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors of your Lord do you deny? 13 He created man from clay like that of earthenware. 14 And He created the jinn of a flame of fire. 15 Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny? 16 [He is] Lord of the two sunrises and Lord of the two sunsets. 17 Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny? 18 He hath let loose the two seas. 19 and yet there is a barrier between them which they may not overstep. 20 Which then of the bounties of your Lord will you deny? 21 Out of these two [bodies of water] come forth pearls, both great and small. 22 Which, then, of your Sustainer's powers can you disavow? 23 By His command, the ships with raised masts sail on the sea like mountains. 24 (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors of your Lord do you then deny? 25

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
