The All Compassionate (Al-Rahman)

In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ The Merciful One 1 It is He Who has taught the Qur'an. 2 He created the human being 3 Has taught him the knowledge of the past and the future. 4 The sun and the moon are scheduled. 5 And the herbs and the trees do obeisance. 6 And the heaven He has raised high, and He has set up the Balance. 7 that you may not transgress in the balance, 8 And establish the measures justly, nor decrease the due weight. 9 And the earth He has put for the creatures. 10 Therein are fruit and palm-trees with their dates in sheaths, 11 and a variety of corn with both husk and grain. 12 O which of your Lord's bounties will you and you deny? 13 He created man of a clay like the potter's, 14 And the jinn did He create of smokeless fire. 15 Which favors of your Lord will you both belie? 16 [He is] Lord of the two sunrises and Lord of the two sunsets. 17 Which, then, of the benefits of your Lord will ye twain belie? 18 He released the two seas, meeting [side by side]; 19 There is a barrier between them. They encroach not (one upon the other). 20 Which, then, of your Sustainer's powers can you disavow? 21 Out of them come pearls and coral. 22 Which of the wonders of your Lord's power will you twain – you men and jinn – then deny? 23 Also, His are the ships that run, raised up like mountains upon the sea. 24 O which of your Lord's bounties will you and you deny? 25

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
