The All Compassionate (Al-Rahman)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ THE MOST GRACIOUS 1 Has taught (you mankind) the Quran (by His Mercy). 2 has created man, 3 and has taught him articulate speech. 4 The sun and the moon are made punctual. 5 And the stars and trees prostrate. 6 He raised the sky and set the Balance 7 So that none may err against the scales, 8 But observe the measure strictly, nor fall short thereof. 9 And the earth He has put for the creatures. 10 There are fruits of all kinds on it, and date-palms with their clusters sheathed, 11 and grain growing tall on its stalks, and sweet-smelling plants. 12 Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny? 13 He created the human from clay, like earthenware 14 and He created the jinn from smokeless fire. 15 (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors of your Lord do you deny? 16 He is the Lord of the East and West through all seasons. 17 Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny? 18 He has set flowing two seas that appear to meet. 19 Between them is a Barrier which they do not transgress: 20 Which of your Lord's wonders would you deny? 21 Pearls and corals come from both. 22 Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny? 23 His are the ships displayed upon the sea, like banners. 24 O which of your Lord's bounties will you and you deny? 25
