BUT FOR THOSE who of their Sustainer's Presence stand in fear, two gardens [of paradise are readied] 46 Which favors of your Lord will you both belie? 47 full of various trees. 48 Which of your Lord's wonders would you deny? 49 In both of them are two springs, flowing. 50 O which of your Lord's bounties will you and you deny? 51 In both of them there will be every kind of fruits in pairs. -- 52 Which of your Lord's favours will you twain – you men and jinn – then deny? 53 Reclining upon the couches lined with silk brocade, and the fruits of the two Gardens will be near at hand. 54 Which of your Lord's wonders would you deny? 55 Therein are those of modest gaze, whom neither man nor jinni will have touched before them. 56 Which, then, of the benefits of your Lord will ye twain belie? 57 As though they are jacinth and coral. 58 O which of your Lord's bounties will you and you deny? 59 Is the reward of goodness aught but goodness? 60 How many favours of your Lord will then both of you deny? -- 61 Besides this, there will be two other gardens. 62 Which of the favours of your Lord will you twain – you men and jinn – then deny? 63 Dark green (in colour). 64 Which favors of your Lord will you both belie? 65 In both of them are two springs gushing forth. 66 Which, then, of your Sustainer's powers can you disavow? 67 therein fruits, and palm-trees, and pomegranates -- 68 So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny? 69 In them good and comely maidens -- 70 Which of the favours of your Lord will you twain – you men and jinn – then deny? 71 Houris cloistered in pavilions -- 72 Which of your Lord's wonders would you deny? 73 Undeflowered by man or by jinn before them, -- 74 Which then of the bounties of your Lord will you deny? 75 Reclining on green cushions and fine carpets. 76 So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? 77 Blessed be the name of your Lord, full of majesty and beneficience. 78
