Al-Rahman 3 of 3
But such as fears the Station of his Lord, for them shall be two gardens -- 46 So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? - 47 Having numerous branches. 48 Which, then, of your Sustainer's powers can you disavow? 49 In them (both) will be two springs flowing (free) 50 O which of your Lord's bounties will you and you deny? 51 In them (both) will be every kind of fruit in pairs. 52 Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny? 53 Reclining on beds, the inner coverings of which are of silk brocade; and the fruits of the two gardens shall be within reach. 54 O which of your Lord's bounties will you and you deny? 55 There will be bashful maidens untouched by mankind or jinn before. 56 Which of your Lord's favours will you twain – you men and jinn – then deny? 57 Lovely as rubies and pearls. 58 Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny? 59 Shall the recompense of goodness be anything other than goodness? 60 So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? 61 Besides this, there will be two other gardens. 62 Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny? 63 Both [gardens] of the darkest green. 64 O which of your Lord's bounties will you and you deny? 65 In [each of] these two [gardens] will two springs gush forth. 66 (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors of your Lord would you then deny? 67 In them will be Fruits, and dates and pomegranates: 68 Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny? 69 In them shall be good and pleasing. 70 How many favours of your Lord will you then deny? -- 71 Companions restrained (as to their glances), in (goodly) pavilions;- 72 Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny?- 73 No man or jinn ever touched them before. 74 So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny? 75 Reclining on green cushions and beautiful carpets. 76 O which of your Lord's bounties will you and you deny? 77 Blest be the name of thine Lord, Owner Of Majesty and Beneficence! 78

When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
