▼ 55 The All Compassionate
Al-Rahman 3 of 3
And for he who fears the standing (before) his Lord there are two Gardens. 46 Which of your Lord's wonders would you deny? 47 Having numerous branches. 48 Which then of the bounties of your Lord will you deny? 49 In [each of] these two [gardens] two springs will flow. 50 Which, then, of the benefits of your Lord will ye twain belie? 51 In both of them are two pairs of every fruit. 52 O which of your Lord's bounties will you and you deny? 53 reclining upon couches lined with brocade, the fruits of the gardens nigh to gather -- 54 Which, then, of the benefits of your Lord will ye twain belie? 55 In them shall be those who restrained their eyes; before them neither man nor jinni shall have touched them. 56 Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny? 57 (In beauty) like the jacynth and the coral-stone. 58 Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny? 59 Can the reward of goodness be any other than goodness? 60 Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny? 61 And beside these there shall be two Gardens. 62 Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny? 63 Dark-green in colour (from plentiful watering). 64 (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors of your Lord would you then deny? 65 In the Gardens are two springs, overflowing with abundance. 66 Which of your Lord's wonders would you deny? 67 Therein will be fruits and dates and pomegranates. 68 Which of the favours of your Lord will you twain – you men and jinn – then deny? 69 Therein will be maidens chaste and beautiful. 70 Which of your Lord's wonders would you deny? 71 [There the blest will live with their] companions pure and modest, in pavilions [splendid] 72 So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? - 73 Whom no man or jinn yatmithhunna (has opened their hymens with sexual intercourse) before them. 74 Which favors of your Lord will you both belie? 75 Reclining on green cushions and fine carpets. 76 Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny? 77 Blessed be the name of your Lord, the Lord of Majesty and Glory. 78
