The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah)
96 verses, revealed in Mecca after T H (Taa Haa) before The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
۞ When the inevitable event comes, 1 And there can be no denying of its befalling. 2 Abasing (some), exalting (others); 3 when the earth will suddenly shake with a terrible shaking, 4 And the hills are ground to powder 5 so that they become as scattered dust 6 And you become [of] three kinds: 7 Those on the right hand; how happy shall those on the right hand be! 8 Companions of the Left, what are the Companions of the Left? 9 and the Outstrippers: the Outstrippers 10 those are they brought near (to their Lord) 11 in the beautiful Paradise. 12 a good many of those of olden times, 13 And a few of the later peoples, 14 On thrones woven [with ornament], 15 Reclining face to face. 16 There will circulate among them young boys made eternal 17 With bowls and ewers and a cup from a pure spring 18 (no brows throbbing, no intoxication) 19 And fruit that they prefer 20 And with flesh of fowls from that which they desire. 21 And (there are) fair ones with wide, lovely eyes, 22 The likes unto pearls hidden. 23 A reward for what they used to do. 24 Not frivolity will they hear therein, nor any taint of ill,- 25 Nought but the saying: peace! peace! 26 And the fellows on the right hand; how be happy shall the fellows on the right hand be! 27 Amid thornless lote-trees, 28 and banana trees, 29 And spreading shade, 30 near to flowing water 31 and abundant fruits, 32 That will neither finish, nor ever be stopped. 33 And carpets raised. 34 and the noble maidens that We have created 35 and We made them spotless virgins, 36 Loving (their husbands only), equal in age. 37 For those of the right hand. 38

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
