▼ 56 The Inevitable
Al-Waaqe'ah 3 of 3
۞ No! I swear by the positions of the stars – 75 And verily, that is indeed a great oath, if you but know. 76 that this indeed is a noble Qur'an, 77 in a hidden Book 78 Which none toucheth save the purified, 79 A revelation by the Lord of the worlds. 80 Would you say that this statement is a lie? 81 Would you reject the sustenance that you receive rather than give thanks? 82 Why, then, when the soul of the dying man reaches the throat, 83 right before your very eyes? 84 And Our angels are nearer to him than you, but you do not see - 85 Then why do you not, if you are exempt from the reckoning and recompense (punishment, etc.) 86 why can you not bring it (the soul) back (to life)? 87 Then if he be of the broughtnigh. 88 it will have rest, happiness, and a beautiful Paradise. 89 And if he be of the fellows on the right hand, 90 Then upon you is the greetings of peace (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him), from those on the right. 91 If it is of those who have rejected the Truth and have gone astray, 92 He shall have an entertainment of boiling water, 93 And roasting at hell-fire. 94 Indeed, this is the true certainty, 95 So glorify the name of your Lord, the Supreme. 96
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
