1/2 Hizb 54
< random >
۞ Nay, I swear by the setting of the stars -- 75 and, indeed, that is a most mighty oath, if you only knew -- 76 that this indeed is a noble Qur'an, 77 inscribed in a well-guarded Book, 78 None may touch it, except with ablution. 79 [It is] a revelation from the Lord of the worlds. 80 Would you say that this statement is a lie? 81 And instead (of thanking Allah) for the provision He gives you, on the contrary, you deny Him (by disbelief)! 82 Why can you not help a soul dying 83 And you at that time look on-- 84 at that moment when We are closer to him than you, although you do not see (Us) 85 Then why, if you are not indebted (to Us for life), 86 why are you then not able to bring them back to life if you are truthful? 87 But if he [the dying person] is one of those brought near to God, 88 There will be peace and plenty, and gardens of tranquility for him. 89 And if he is one of the People on the Right, 90 Then peace to you from those on the right hand. 91 But if he be of them that cried lies, and went astray, 92 Then the welcome will be boiling water 93 And roasting at hell-fire. 94 This is the absolute Truth and certainty. 95 Extol, then, the limitless glory of thy Sustainer's mighty name! 96
God the Almighty always says the truth.

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
