۞ NAY, I call to witness the coming-down in parts [of this Qur'an] 75 - which is indeed a great oath if only you knew it - 76 that this is indeed a noble Quran, 77 preserved in a hidden Book which 78 Which none toucheth save the purified, 79 A Revelation from the Lord of the Worlds. 80 Is it this discourse that ye hold lightly? 81 Would you reject the sustenance that you receive rather than give thanks? 82 Then why do you not (intervene) when (the soul of a dying person) reaches the throat? 83 and you are [at that moment] looking on [helplessly] -- 84 And We are nigher unto him than ye are, but ye behold not 85 why, then, if [you think that] you are not truly dependent [on Us,] 86 Cause ye it not to return, if ye say sooth? 87 Thus if he is of those brought nigh, 88 then happiness and delight and Gardens of Bliss are his. 89 And if he be of the fellows on the right hand, 90 'Peace be upon thee, Companion of the Right!' 91 If it is of those who have rejected the Truth and have gone astray, 92 then he will be served boiling water, 93 and the heat of a blazing fire! 94 This is the absolute Truth and certainty. 95 So glorify the name of your Lord, the Great One. 96
