۞ But nay! I swear by the falling of stars; 75 And verily that is a mighty oath, if ye but knew! 76 Behold, it is a truly noble discourse, 77 in a well-guarded preserved Book, 78 None touch it except the purified. 79 A Revelation from the Lord of the Worlds. 80 How can you regard this discourse with disdain? 81 and your portion in it is simply that you denounce it as false? 82 So why was it not, when the soul reaches up to the throat, 83 and you are watching at that time 84 (And We are nigher him than you, but you do not see Us) 85 Then why is it not-- if you are not held under authority-- 86 Do ye not force it back, if ye are truthful? 87 [ALL OF YOU are destined to die.] Now if one happens to be of those who are drawn close unto God, 88 there shall be repose and ease, and a Garden of Delight; 89 And if he (the dying person) be of those on the Right Hand, 90 Then peace to you from those on the right hand. 91 But if he (the dying person) be of the denying (of the Resurrection), the erring (away from the Right Path of Islamic Monotheism), 92 He shall have an entertainment of boiling water, 93 And roasting at hell-fire. 94 Indeed, this is the certain truth. 95 So glorify with praises the Name of your Lord, the Most Great. 96
God the Almighty always says the truth.
End of Surah: The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah). Sent down in Mecca after T H (Taa Haa) before The Poets (Alshu'araa')
