۞ But nay! I swear by the falling of stars; 75 and that is a mighty oath, if you but knew 76 That this is indeed a qur'an Most Honourable, 77 in a Book protected (from tampering) 78 which none can touch except the purified. 79 a revelation from the Sustainer of all the worlds! 80 So is this the matter regarding which you laze? 81 And make it your provision that ye should belie it? 82 So why was it not, when the soul reaches up to the throat, – 83 the while you are helplessly watching that he is on the verge of death, 84 and while We are closer to him than you, although you see [Us] not: 85 Then why do ye not,- If you are exempt from (future) account,- 86 Cause ye it not to return, if ye say sooth? 87 Thus if he is of those brought nigh, 88 There will be peace and plenty, and gardens of tranquility for him. 89 and if he is of those who are on the Right, 90 There will be the salutation by those of the right hand: "Peace on you. 91 And if he be of those who treat (Truth) as Falsehood, who go wrong, 92 Then the welcome will be boiling water 93 And roasting in a Blaze. 94 Verily, this is indeed the truth of truths! 95 So celebrate with praises the name of thy Lord, the Supreme. 96
