۞ But nay! I swear by the falling of stars; 75 And verily, that is indeed a great oath, if you but know. 76 that this is indeed a noble Quran, 77 [conveyed unto man] in a well-guarded divine writ 78 no one can touch it except the purified ones. 79 a sending down from the Lord of all the Worlds. 80 Do you then hold this announcement in contempt? 81 And make it your provision that ye should belie it? 82 So why was it not, when the soul reaches up to the throat, – 83 And ye the while (sit) looking on,- 84 And Our angels are nearer to him than you, but you do not see - 85 Then why do ye not,- If you are exempt from (future) account,- 86 Can you not bring him back? (Answer) if you are truthful 87 So if he is one of those who are near-stationed (to Allah), 88 it will have rest, happiness, and a beautiful Paradise. 89 And if he be of the fellows on the right hand, 90 'Peace be upon thee, Companion of the Right!' 91 And if he is one of the rejecters, the erring ones, 92 a welcome of burning despair [awaits him in the life to come,] 93 And a hurling into the blazing fire. 94 Verily, this is the Very Truth and Certainly. 95 Then praise your Lord, the most supreme. 96
