▼ 56 The Inevitable
Al-Waaqe'ah 3 of 3
۞ NAY, I call to witness the coming-down in parts [of this Qur'an] 75 And most surely it is a very great oath if you only knew; 76 That this is indeed the glorious Qur'an 77 In a Book well-guarded (with Allah in the heaven i.e. Al-Lauh Al-Mahfuz). 78 which none but the pure may touch; 79 A revelation from the Lord of the Worlds. 80 Is it such a Message that ye would hold in light esteem? 81 You live by calling it a lie. 82 Then why do you not (intervene) when (the soul of a dying person) reaches the throat? 83 and you are watching at that time 84 And Our angels are nearer to him than you, but you do not see - 85 why, if you are not at Our disposal, 86 That you bring it back, if you are truthful? 87 Then if he is one of those drawn nigh (to Allah), 88 there shall be calmness and ease, a Garden of Delight. 89 And if he is one of the People on the Right, 90 Then (the greeting) "Peace be unto thee" from those on the right hand. 91 And if he is one of the rejecters, the erring ones, 92 Then his reception is the hot boiling water. 93 And roasting at hell-fire. 94 This is the absolute Truth and certainty. 95 So exalt the Name of your Lord, the Great. 96
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
