▼ 56 The Inevitable
Al-Waaqe'ah 3 of 3
۞ Nay, I swear by the places of the stars - 75 And this surely is great evidence if you can understand -- 76 That (this) is indeed an honourable recital (the Noble Quran). 77 In a Book kept hidden 78 which none but the pure may touch; 79 a revelation from the Sustainer of all the worlds! 80 What, do you hold this discourse in disdain, 81 and do you make it your living to cry lies? 82 Why, then, when the soul of the dying man reaches the throat, 83 And ye the while (sit) looking on,- 84 We are closer to him than you, but you cannot see. 85 Then why do you not, if you are not to be recompensed, 86 Can you not bring him back? (Answer) if you are truthful 87 So if he is one of those who are near-stationed (to Allah), 88 There will be peace and plenty, and gardens of tranquility for him. 89 And if he be of the fellows on the right hand, 90 'Peace be upon thee, Companion of the Right!' 91 But if he is of the rejecters, the erring, 92 there shall be a hospitality of boiling water, 93 And burning in hell. 94 This is indeed the indubitable truth. 95 Therefor (O Muhammad) praise the name of thy Lord, the Tremendous. 96
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
