۞ No! I swear by the fallings of the stars 75 and this is indeed a mighty oath, if only you knew – 76 Behold, it is a truly noble discourse, 77 In a book that is protected 78 which none can touch except the purified. 79 It is a revelation sent down from the Lord of the worlds. 80 Is it this Statement that ye scorn, 81 And make it your provision that ye should belie it? 82 Then why, when the soul at death reaches the throat 83 right before your very eyes? 84 But We (i.e. Our angels who take the soul) are nearer to him than you, but you see not, [Tafsir At-Tabari, Vol. 27, Page 209] 85 if you are not subject to anyone's authority, 86 Call back the soul, if ye are true (in the claim of independence)? 87 If he is among the near 88 There will be peace and plenty, and gardens of tranquility for him. 89 And if he (the dying person) be of those on the Right Hand, 90 (For him is the salutation), "Peace be unto thee", from the Companions of the Right Hand. 91 But if he be of them that cried lies, and went astray, 92 The welcome will be boiling water 93 and a roasting in Hell. 94 This is the absolute Truth and certainty. 95 So celebrate with praises the name of thy Lord, the Supreme. 96
