۞ So I call the placement of the stars to witness -- 75 And verily, that is indeed a great oath, if you but know. 76 That it is a Recitation honourable. 77 [conveyed unto man] in a well-guarded divine writ 78 Only they can reach it who are clean (of mind). 79 Sent down by the Lord Of The Creation. 80 Is it this Statement that ye scorn, 81 do you make it your provision to belie it? 82 Why, then, when the soul leaps up to the throat, 83 And you wait for the moment (of death), 84 But We are nearer to him than ye, and yet see not,- 85 Then why do you not, if you are not to be recompensed, 86 why can you not bring it (the soul) back (to life)? 87 So if he is one of those who are near-stationed (to Allah), 88 there shall be calmness and ease, a Garden of Delight. 89 and if he is of those who are on the Right, 90 [he, too, will be welcomed into paradise with the words,] "Peace be unto thee [that art] of those who have attained to righteousness!" 91 But if he is one of those who rejected [the truth] and went astray, 92 He shall have an entertainment of boiling water, 93 And burning in Hell-fire. 94 Indeed, this is the certain truth. 95 Wherefore hallow thou the name of thy Lord, the Mighty! 96
