▼ 56 The Inevitable
Al-Waaqe'ah 3 of 3
۞ Nay, I swear by the places of the stars - 75 And that is indeed a mighty adjuration if ye but knew,- 76 That (this) is indeed an honourable recital (the Noble Quran). 77 In a Book well-guarded (with Allah in the heaven i.e. Al-Lauh Al-Mahfuz). 78 which none shall touch except the purified; 79 [It is] a revelation from the Lord of the worlds. 80 Is it such a Message that ye would hold in light esteem? 81 Would you reject the sustenance that you receive rather than give thanks? 82 Wherefore then - when the soul cometh up to the wind-pipe 83 And ye are at that moment looking 84 We are closer to him than you, but you cannot see. 85 why then, if you are not revived, 86 Call back the soul, if ye are true (in the claim of independence)? 87 (If a dying soul) is of those near to God, 88 There will be peace and plenty, and gardens of tranquility for him. 89 If it is of the people of the right hand, 90 'Peace be upon thee, Companion of the Right!' 91 But if he be of them that cried lies, and went astray, 92 Then the welcome will be boiling water 93 And burning in Hell-fire. 94 Lo! this is certain truth. 95 Extol, then, the limitless glory of thy Sustainer's mighty name! 96
True are the words of God the Almighty.
