▼ 56 The Inevitable
Al-Waaqe'ah 3 of 3
۞ NAY, I call to witness the coming-down in parts [of this Qur'an] 75 And verily, that is indeed a great oath, if you but know. 76 it is surely a noble Koran 77 in a well-guarded preserved Book, 78 which none but the pure may touch; 79 [It is] a revelation from the Lord of the worlds. 80 Is it such a Message that ye would hold in light esteem? 81 and do you make it your living to cry lies? 82 So why was it not, when the soul reaches up to the throat, – 83 Whereas you watch at that moment! 84 And We are nearer to him than you are, but you cannot see. 85 why, then, if you are not subject to Our command, 86 why are you then not able to bring them back to life if you are truthful? 87 But if he [the dying person] is one of those brought near to God, 88 For him shall be comfort, and fragrance and a Garden of Delight. 89 If he is of those of the right hand, 90 There will be the salutation by those of the right hand: "Peace on you. 91 And if he be of the beliers, the erring, 92 He shall have an entertainment of boiling water, 93 And burning in hell. 94 This is the absolute Truth and certainty. 95 So exalt the Name of your Lord, the Great. 96
True are the words of God the Almighty.
