▼ 56 The Inevitable
Al-Waaqe'ah 3 of 3
۞ I swear by the fallings of the stars 75 and, behold, this is indeed a most solemn affirmation, if you but knew it! 76 That this is indeed the glorious Qur'an 77 In a Book kept hidden 78 Which none can touch except the purified. 79 It is a revelation sent down from the Lord of the worlds. 80 Do you then hold this announcement in contempt? 81 You live by calling it a lie. 82 So why was it not, when the soul reaches up to the throat, – 83 and you are [at that moment] looking on [helplessly] -- 84 We are closer to him than you, but you cannot see. 85 why then, if you are not revived, 86 why are you then not able to bring them back to life if you are truthful? 87 Thus, then, if he be of those Nearest to Allah, 88 Then is relief, and flowers – and Gardens of peace. 89 If he is a Companion of the Right 90 (he will be greeted with): 'Peace be upon you, Companion of the Right' 91 But if he is of the deniers and the errants, 92 there shall be a hospitality of boiling water, 93 and the heat of a blazing fire! 94 Indeed, this is the certain truth. 95 Therefore glorify the name of your Lord, the Great. 96

كيف تعمل منظومة تمارين الحفظ؟ عند أدنى مستوى 0، تكون كل الكلمات ظاهرة. بينما يُخفي أعلى مستوى 9 كل الكلمات. فكيف تعمل المستويات المتوسطة، مثل 3، على سبيل المثال؟ قد تعتقد بأن المنظومة تخفي 3 من كل تسع كلمات بدقة. ليس تماما! في المستوى 3، لكل كلمة فرصة اختفاء بنسبة 3 من 9، و6 من 9 لتكون ظاهرة. بمعنى آخر، من الممكن، ولكن باحتمال شبة معدوم، أن تكون جميع كلمات المستوى 3 مخفية، أو أن تكون جميعها ظاهرة! وكذلك أيضًا، ففي المستويات المتوسطة، وبما يتناسب مع مستوى الصعوبة، يمكن أن تكون المخابئ غير كاملة أو شفافة جزئيًا بحيث تظهر الكلمات جزئيًا تحتها.
How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
