▼ 56 The Inevitable
Al-Waaqe'ah 3 of 3
۞ I do not need to swear by the setting of the stars 75 And verily that is a mighty oath, if ye but knew! 76 Indeed, it is a noble Qur'an 77 Kept in a secure Book. 78 which none but the pure may touch; 79 It has been revealed by the Lord of all the worlds. 80 Is it this Statement that ye scorn, 81 And instead (of thanking Allah) for the provision He gives you, on the contrary, you deny Him (by disbelief)! 82 Why is it not then that when it (soul) comes up to the throat, 83 and that hour you are watching 84 We are closer to him than you, but you cannot see. 85 Then why do you not, if you are exempt from the reckoning and recompense (punishment, etc.) 86 That you send it (not) back-- if you are truthful? 87 Then if he be of the broughtnigh. 88 happiness [awaits him in the life to come,] and inner fulfillment, and a garden of bliss. 89 and if he is of those who are on the Right, 90 Then peace to you from those on the right hand. 91 But if he was of the deniers [who were] astray, 92 he will be welcomed with boiling water. 93 And burning in hell. 94 This is indeed the indubitable truth. 95 Therefor (O Muhammad) praise the name of thy Lord, the Tremendous. 96
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
