So what is [the matter] with those who disbelieve, hastening [from] before you, [O Muhammad], 36 from the right and from the left, in crowds? 37 Doth every man among them hope to enter the Garden of Delight? 38 Certainly not! They know quite well out of what We created them. 39 So I swear by the Lord of [all] risings and settings that indeed We are able 40 To replace them by (others) better than them. And we are not to be outrun. 41 So leave them to plunge in vain talk and play about, until they encounter that Day of theirs which they have been promised!- 42 the Day when they shall come out of their graves in haste, as if they were racing to a goal, 43 with downcast eyes, with ignominy overwhelming them: that Day which they were promised again and again 44
