The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
۞ Proclaim the Purity of your Lord, the Supreme. 1 Who creates and proportions, 2 who determined and guided, 3 It is He who has caused the grass to grow, 4 then caused it to wither away. 5 We shall enable thee to recite, and then thou shalt not forget, 6 except what Allah wills, surely, He knows all that is (spoken) aloud and what is hidden. 7 And We will make your way smooth to a state of ease. 8 Therefore remind, if the Reminder benefits, 9 Those who fear will understand. 10 but it will be ignored by the most unfortunate, 11 he who [in the life to come] shall have to endure the great fire 12 Then he will neither die in it, nor live. 13 He who purified himself shall prosper, 14 And remembers (glorifies) the Name of his Lord (worships none but Allah), and prays (five compulsory prayers and Nawafil additional prayers). 15 But ye prefer the life of this world, 16 Although the Hereafter is better and more lasting. 17 Surely, this is in the ancient Scrolls, 18 The scriptures of Abraham and Moses. 19
