Al-Mujaadalah 3 of 3
۞ Do you not see those who have befriended a people who have brought down upon themselves the wrath of God? They are neither with you nor with them and they wittingly swear to falsehood. 14 God has readied for them suffering severe [in the life to come]. Behold, evil indeed is what they are wont to do: 15 They have made their oaths a shield, and obstruct people from the way of God. There is shameful punishment for them. 16 Neither their wealth nor their children will be of the least avail [in protecting them] against God -- they are the inheritors of Hell, and there they shall remain forever. 17 On the day that God will raise them together, they will swear before Him as they swear before you, and imagine they are on the right path. Is it not they who are liars? 18 The devil has overpowered them, so they forgot the remembrance of Allah; they are the devil’s group; pay heed! Indeed it is the devil’s group who are the losers. 19 Verily those; who oppose Allah and His apostle - they are among the lowest. 20 Allah hath prescribed: surely I shall overcome, I and My apostles. Verily Allah is strong, Mighty. 21 You shall not find a people who believe in Allah and the Last Day befriending those who oppose Allah and His Messenger even though they be their fathers or their sons or their brothers or their kindred. He has inscribed faith in their hearts and has strengthened them with a spirit from Him, and He shall make them enter Gardens beneath which rivers flow. Therein they shall abide. Allah is well-pleased with them, and they are well-pleased with Him. They belong to Allah's party. Verily Allah's party shall prosper. 22
