Believers, let your possessions and your offspring not make you negligent of Allah's remembrance. For whoso does that, they will be the losers. 9 And spend [in the way of Allah] from what We have provided you before death approaches one of you and he says, "My Lord, if only You would delay me for a brief term so I would give charity and be among the righteous." 10 God will never grant respite to any soul when its appointed time has come. God is Well-Aware of what you do. 11
