Al-Taghaabun 2 of 2
No affliction can befall man but by God's permission -- He guides the hearts of those who believe in Him: God has knowledge of all things -- 11 Obey God and the Messenger, but if you turn away, know that the only duty of Our Messenger is to clearly preach. 12 God! There is no god but He, so let the faithful put their trust in Him. 13 O you who believe! surely from among your wives and your children there is an enemy to you; therefore beware of them; and if you pardon and forbear and forgive, then surely Allah is Forgiving, Merciful. 14 Your wealth and your children are only a trial; and with God is a mighty wage. 15 Wherefore fear Allah as much as ye are able, and hearken and obey, and expend, for the benefit of your souls. And whosoever is protected from niggardliness of his soul - those! they are the blissful. 16 If you offer up to God a goodly loan, He will amply repay you for it, and will forgive you your sins: for God is ever responsive to gratitude, forbearing, 17 Knower of the unseen and the seen, the Mighty, the Wise. 18
True are the words of God the Almighty.
