Al-Haaqqah 2 of 2
BUT NAY! I call to witness all that you can see, 38 And what you do not see, 39 That it is surely the speech brought by messenger honourable. 40 and is not - however little you may [be prepared to] believe it - the word of a poet; 41 Nor is it the word of a soothsayer (or a foreteller), little is that you remember! 42 It is a Revelation from the Lord of the worlds. 43 And if Muhammad had made up about Us some [false] sayings, 44 We would have caught hold of him by his right hand 45 Then would have cut off his heart’s artery. 46 not one of you could have prevented it from him. 47 And indeed this Qur’an is an advice for the pious. 48 We certainly know that some among you will give the lie to it, 49 And indeed it (this Quran) will be an anguish for the disbelievers (on the Day of Resurrection). 50 And He, He is indeed the ultimate Reality. 51 Extol, then the limitless glory of thy Sustainer's mighty name! 52

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
