But no; I swear by what you see, 38 and by that you do not see, 39 most surely, this is the word brought by a noble messenger, 40 It is not the word of a poet but only a few of you have faith, 41 Nor is it the speech of a soothsayer; how little do you ponder! 42 It is a revelation from the Lord of the worlds. 43 Had Muhammad invented some words against Us. 44 We surely had lain hold of him by the right hand. 45 and would indeed have cut his life-vein. 46 not one of you could have prevented it from him. 47 And verily it is an admonition unto the God-fearing. 48 but We know that some of you will cry lies. 49 And lo! it is indeed an anguish for the disbelievers. 50 And He, He is indeed the ultimate Reality. 51 Wherefore hallow thou the name of thy Lord, the Mighty. 52
