Al-Haaqqah 2 of 2
So, I call to witness what you see 38 And all that ye see not 39 That this is verily the word of an honoured Messenger [i.e. Jibrael (Gabriel) or Muhammad SAW which he has brought from Allah]. 40 not the speech of a poet. Little do you believe! 41 Nor is it the word of a soothsayer: little admonition it is ye receive. 42 It is a revelation from the Lord of the Universe. 43 And had he fabricated just one matter upon Us – 44 We would have seized him by his right hand, 45 And then severed his life-vein. 46 And none of you could withhold Us from (punishing) him. 47 It is really a reminder for those who fear God and follow the straight path. 48 And lo! We know that some among you will deny (it). 49 it will be a source of bitter regret for those who deny the truth -- 50 And lo! it is absolute truth. 51 Exalt the Name of your Lord, the Great. 52
