Al-Haaqqah 2 of 2
I do not need to swear by what you see 38 and what you do not see 39 That this is verily the word of an honoured Messenger [i.e. Jibrael (Gabriel) or Muhammad SAW which he has brought from Allah]. 40 it is not the word of a poet -- how little you believe! -- 41 nor is it the work of a soothsayer but only a few of you take heed. 42 [it is] a revelation from the Sustainer of all the worlds. 43 Had he invented sayings against Us, 44 We would have caught hold of him by his right hand 45 Then would have cut off his heart’s artery. 46 and not one of you would have been able to withhold Us from doing so. 47 The Quran is certainly a reminder for the pious ones. 48 And indeed, We know that among you are deniers. 49 And most surely it is a great grief to the unbelievers. 50 But verily it is Truth of assured certainty. 51 Wherefore hallow thou the name of thy Lord, the Mighty. 52
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
