BUT NAY! I call to witness all that you can see, 38 And what ye see not, 39 Most surely, it is the Word brought by an honored Apostle, 40 And it is not the speech of a poet; how little do you believe! 41 Nor the word of a soothsayer; little do you remember. 42 It is a revelation sent down by the Sustainer of the Universe: 43 And if he [i.e., the Prophets] had forged this Discourse and thereafter ascribed it to Us, 44 We would indeed have seized him by his right hand 45 and would indeed have cut his life-vein, 46 And not one of you would have been able to stop (Us). 47 And indeed, the Qur'an is a reminder for the righteous. 48 We certainly know that some among you do deny it. 49 And most surely it is a great grief to the unbelievers. 50 Certainly it is a Truth of absolute certainty. 51 Exalt the Name of your Lord, the Great. 52
