In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
We sent Noah to his nation, saying: 'Give warning to your nation before a painful punishment overtakes them' 1 He said: "O my people! Verily, I am a plain warner to you, 2 Worship God, have fear of Him and obey me. 3 That He may forgive some of your sins and prolong your term till an appointed time. Surely when God's appointed time is come it will not be put off, if only you knew! 4 He said: “My Lord, I called my people by night and by day, 5 But my invitation increased them not except in flight. 6 And verily so oft as I call them, that Thou mayest forgive them, they place their fingers into their ears, and wrap themselves with their garments, and persist, and are stiff-necked. 7 Then indeed I called them openly; 8 and, behold I preached to them in public; and I spoke to them secretly, in private; 9 Then I said, "Ask forgiveness of your Lord. Surely He is the most forgiving. 10 "'He will send rain to you in abundance; 11 and give to you wealth and sons, and provide you with gardens and rivers. 12 What aileth you that ye hope not toward Allah for dignity 13 seeing He created you by stages? 14 Have you not regarded how God created seven heavens one upon another, 15 And hath placed the moon therein for a light, and hath made the sun a lamp? 16 And Allah hath caused you to grow as a growth from the earth, 17 and He will later cause you to return to it and will then again bring you out of it. 18 Allah has made the earth a wide expanse for you 19 so that you walk in its spacious paths.' 20

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
