Nuh (Noah) said: "My Lord! They have disobeyed me, and followed one whose wealth and children give him no increase but only loss. 21 "And they have devised a tremendous Plot. 22 "And they have said (to each other), 'Abandon not your gods: Abandon neither Wadd nor Suwa', neither Yaguth nor Ya'uq, nor Nasr';- 23 And already they have misled many. And, [my Lord], do not increase the wrongdoers except in error." 24 They were drowned because of their habitual sinfulness, and sent to Hell, and did not find any helper other than God. 25 And Nuh (Noah) said: "My Lord! Leave not one of the disbelievers on the earth! 26 Verily if Thou shouldst leave them, they will mislead Thine bondmen and will beget not save sinning infidels, 27 "O my Lord! Forgive me, my parents, all who enter my house in Faith, and (all) believing men and believing women: and to the wrong-doers grant Thou no increase but in perdition!" 28
