Jinns (Al-Jinn)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
۞ Proclaim (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him), “I have received the divine revelation that some jinns attentively listened to my recitation, so they said, ‘We have heard a unique Qur’an.’ 1 'It guides to the Right Path, and we have believed therein, and we shall never join (in worship) anything with our Lord (Allah). 2 'And Exalted is the Majesty of our Lord: He has taken neither a wife nor a son. 3 'There were some foolish ones among us, who used to utter extravagant lies against Allah; 4 'But we do think that no man or spirit should say aught that untrue against Allah. 5 ‘And indeed some men among humans used to take the protection of some men among jinns, so it further increased their haughtiness.’ 6 And indeed they supposed, even as ye suppose, that Allah would not raise anyone (from the dead) - 7 And that we sought to reach heaven, but we found it filled with strong guards and flaming stars. 8 And that we used to sit in some of the sitting-places thereof to steal a hearing, but he who would (try to) listen now would find a flame lying in wait for him: 9 And we know not whether harm is boded unto all who are in the earth, or whether their Lord intendeth guidance for them. 10 Just as [we do not know how it happens] that some from among us are righteous, while some of us are [far] below that: we have always followed widely divergent paths. 11 We knew that we could never challenge God whether we stayed on earth or fled elsewhere. 12 Hence, as soon as we heard this [call to His] guidance, we came to believe in it: and he who believes in his Sustainer need never have fear of loss or injustice. 13 And there are among us some who have surrendered (to Allah) and there are among us some who are unjust. And whoso hath surrendered to Allah, such have taken the right path purposefully. 14 'But those who swerve,- they are (but) fuel for Hell-fire'- 15 Had they (jinn and mankind) remained steadfast in their religion (Islam), We would certainly have given them abundant water to drink 16 as a trial for them. God will make those who disregard the guidance from their Lord suffer increasing torment. 17 and that “mosques belong to Allah, so do not invoke anyone with Him”; 18 When the worshiper of Allah stood supplicating to Him, they swarmed around him (Prophet Muhammad). 19
