▼ 74 The Hidden Secret
Al-Muddath-thir 2 of 2
No! By the moon 32 And [by] the night when it departs 33 And the dawn when it shineth forth, 34 Indeed, the Fire is of the greatest [afflictions] 35 A warning for people -- 36 For the one among you who wishes to come forward or stay back. 37 Every soul will be (held) in pledge for its deeds. 38 Except the Companions of the Right Hand. 39 In Gardens, they seek answers, 40 Of evil-doers: 41 What has brought you into hell? 42 They will say: we have not been of those who prayed. 43 And we have not been feeding the poor. 44 "But we used to talk vanities with vain talkers; 45 And we have been belying the Day of Requital. 46 until death approached us". 47 So no intercession of intercessors will be of any use to them. 48 If such will be the Day of Judgment, what is the matter with them? Why do they run away from guidance, 49 like startled wild donkeys 50 Fleeing from a lion? 51 Yea, everyone of them claims that he [himself] ought to have been given revelations unfolded! 52 No! But they do not fear the Hereafter. 53 Nay; this is an Exhortation. 54 and whoever wills may take it to heart. 55 And they will not mind unless Allah please. He is worthy to be feared and worthy to forgive. 56
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
