By no means! By the moon, 32 And by the Night as it retreateth, 33 And [by] the morning when it brightens, 34 Verily, it (Hell, or their denial of the Prophet Muhammad SAW, or the Day of Resurrection) is but one of the greatest calamities. 35 As a warning unto men, 36 For the one among you who wishes to come forward or stay back. 37 Every soul is a pledge for its own deeds; 38 Except those of the right hand 39 (They will be) in Gardens (of Delight): they will question each other, 40 About the criminals, 41 "What has caused you to enter Hell?" 42 They will reply: 'We were not among those who prayed 43 Nor did we feed the wretched. 44 and we plunged along with the plungers, 45 And we have been belying the Day of Requital. 46 Until there came to us the certainty." 47 The intercession of their intercessors shall not benefit them. 48 So what is the matter with them that they turn away from the advice? 49 like startled wild donkeys 50 Fleeing from a lion? 51 Indeed, each one of them desires to be given unrolled scrolls. 52 No indeed; the truth is that they have no fear of the Hereafter. 53 Nay, this surely is an admonition: 54 and whoever wills may take it to heart. 55 No one will seek guidance unless God wills it. He alone is worthy of being feared and He is the Source of Forgiveness. 56
