No, by the moon! 32 and by the night when it recedes, 33 By the dawn when it lightens! 34 That Hell is surely one of the greater signs, 35 a warning to humans, 36 For the one among you who wishes to come forward or stay back. 37 Each one is a hostage to one's deeds, 38 save the People of the Right Hand 39 Sitting in the gardens, asking 40 and will ask of the criminals, 41 "what led you into hell?" 42 They will answer: "We did not fulfil our devotional obligations, 43 nor did we feed the destitute. 44 "And used to dwell on evil matters with those who think evilly." 45 And we have been belying the Day of Requital. 46 Until the certainty of death had come upon us. 47 The intercession of the intercessors shall then be of no avail to them. 48 What is then the matter with them, that they turn away from the admonition 49 like frightened donkeys 50 fleeing before a lion? 51 Nay, every man of them desires to be -- given -- scrolls unrolled. 52 No indeed; the truth is that they have no fear of the Hereafter. 53 Never so, as this is a reminder. 54 Let him who will take heed: 55 But they will not remember except as God wills: He is worthy to be feared, and He is worthy of forgiving 56
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
