No, by the moon! 32 And the night when it withdraweth 33 and by the day when it dawns (with its radiance), 34 Verily, that [hell-fire] is Indeed one of the great [forewarnings] 35 as a warner to mortals. 36 Unto him of you who will advance or hang back. 37 Every soul shall be pledged for what it has earned, 38 Except those on the Right, (i.e. the pious true believers of Islamic Monotheism); 39 In Gardens they will question 40 concerning the sinners, 41 'What thrusted you into Sakar?' 42 They shall say, 'We were not of those who prayed, and 43 and neither did we feed the needy; 44 and we were wont to indulge in sinning together with all [the others] who indulged in it; 45 and we cried lies to the Day of Doom, 46 "Until there came to us (the death) that is certain." 47 So no intercession of intercessors will be of any use to them. 48 What aileth them, therefore, that they are from the admonition turning away? 49 As though they were asses startled. 50 fleeing -- before a lion? 51 Yea, everyone of them claims that he [himself] ought to have been given revelations unfolded! 52 No indeed; but they do not fear the Hereafter. 53 No indeed; surely it is a Reminder; 54 So whoever wills may heed advice from it. 55 And they will not heed unless Allah willeth (it). He is the fount of fear. He is the fount of Mercy. 56
