Nay, by the moon, 32 And the night when on the wane, 33 And by the dawn when it brightens, 34 Surely it (hell) is one of the gravest (misfortunes), 35 It is a warning for mankind 36 a warning to everyone of you whether he would like to come forward or lag behind. 37 Every soul is a pledge for its own deeds; 38 Except the people of the right hand, 39 In Gardens (Paradise) they will ask one another, 40 Concerning the guilty: 41 "What has caused you to enter Hell?" 42 They will reply: 'We were not among those who prayed 43 nor did we feed the destitute. 44 and we plunged along with the plungers, 45 And rejected the Day of Judgement as a lie 46 until the inevitable event overtook us.” 47 Then there will not profit them intercesion of the interceders. 48 What is then the matter with them, that they turn away from the admonition 49 As though they were asses startled. 50 Fleeing from a hunter, or a lion, or a beast of prey. 51 Nay, everyone of them desires that he should be given pages spread out (coming from Allah with a writing that Islam is the right religion, and Muhammad SAW has come with the truth from Allah the Lord of the heavens and earth, etc.). 52 No, indeed they have no fear of the Everlasting Life. 53 Nay, verily. Lo! this is an Admonishment. 54 So, whoever wills, will remember it. 55 No one will seek guidance unless God wills it. He alone is worthy of being feared and He is the Source of Forgiveness. 56
