By the moon, 32 By the receding night 33 And by oath of the morning, when it spreads light. 34 hell is certainly the greatest calamity. 35 As a warning unto men, 36 to everyone of you, whether he chooses to come forward or to hang back! 37 Every soul is a pledge for its own deeds; 38 Save those who will stand on the right hand. 39 (They will be) in Gardens (of Delight): they will question each other, 40 About Al-Mujrimun (polytheists, criminals, disbelievers, etc.), (And they will say to them): 41 "what led you into hell?" 42 They shall say, 'We were not of those who prayed, and 43 "Nor we used to feed Al-Miskin (the poor); 44 And plunged into useless things with those who were obstinate, 45 “And used to deny the Day of Justice.” 46 Until the certainty (of death) had come upon us. 47 Then will no intercession of (any) intercessors profit them. 48 Why now turn they away from the Admonishment, 49 As if they were alarmed donkeys 50 Fleeing from a lion? 51 Nay; every one of them desires that he may be given pages spread out; 52 No indeed; the truth is that they have no fear of the Hereafter. 53 but this is truly a reminder. 54 So whosoever will may heed. 55 But they will not benefit from it unless Allah Himself so wills. He is worthy to be feared; and He is worthy to forgive (those that fear Him). 56
