NAY, but consider the moon! 32 And by oath of the night when it turns back. 33 And the daybreak when it shines; 34 Surely it (hell) is one of the gravest (misfortunes), 35 a warning to humans, 36 Unto him of you who will advance or hang back. 37 Each one is a hostage to one's deeds, 38 save the Companions of the Right; 39 In Gardens; they shall be asking, 40 about the guilty ones: 41 What led you into the Scorching Fire? 42 They will answer: "We were not among those who prayed; 43 Nor did we feed the wretched. 44 "And we used to talk falsehood (all that which Allah hated) with vain talkers. 45 and rejected the Day of Judgment 46 "Till death overcame us." 47 So no intercession will avail them. 48 So what is the matter with them that they turn away from the advice? 49 like startled wild donkeys 50 fleeing from a lion? 51 Rather, every person among them desires that he would be given scriptures spread about. 52 This will certainly never be the case! In fact, they are not afraid of the Day of Judgment. 53 Nay, verily. Lo! this is an Admonishment. 54 Let him who will take heed: 55 No one will seek guidance unless God wills it. He alone is worthy of being feared and He is the Source of Forgiveness. 56
