Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)
40 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah) before The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
۞ I swear by the Day of Resurrection; 1 And I call the reprehensive soul to witness: 2 Thinketh man that We shall not assemble his bones? 3 Yes, We are Able to put together in perfect order the tips of his fingers. 4 In fact man wishes to commit evil in front of Him! 5 He asketh: When will be this Day of Resurrection? 6 So when the sight becomes dazed, 7 The moon eclipsed, 8 when the sun and moon are gathered together 9 On that Day shall man say: whither is the fleeing. 10 No indeed; not a refuge! 11 With your Lord alone will be the retreat that Day. 12 On that day, man will be informed of all what he sent ahead and left behind. 13 nay, man shall be a clear proof against himself, 14 Although he tender his excuses. 15 Move not thy tongue concerning the (Qur'an) to make haste therewith. 16 for, behold, it is for Us to gather it [in thy heart,] and to cause it to be read [as it ought to be read]. 17 Therefore when We have recited it, follow its recitation. 18 then it will be for Us to explain it. 19 No! But you love the immediate 20 and leave be the Hereafter. 21 That day will faces be resplendent, 22 Looking to their Lord. 23 And (other) faces on that day shall be gloomy, 24 Knowing that there will be made to befall them some great calamity. 25 Nay! When it comes up to the throat, 26 And men say: Where is the wizard (who can save him now)? 27 the while he [himself] knows that this is the parting, 28 And agony is heaped on agony; 29 at that time towards thy Sustainer does he feel impelled to turn! 30

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
