Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
۞ No! I swear by the Day of Resurrection, 1 And I do call to witness the self-reproaching spirit: (Eschew Evil). 2 Does man think that We shall not gather his bones? 3 Yes indeed; We have the power to remould even his finger-tips. 4 None the less man chooses to deny what lies ahead of him, 5 He asks, “When will be the Day of Resurrection?” 6 When the eye is bewildered, 7 and the moon is eclipsed, 8 And the sun and the moon are joined, 9 people will say, "Is there anywhere to run away?" 10 By no means! there shall be no place of refuge! 11 For on that Day the refuge shall be to your Lord. 12 On that day, man will be informed of all what he sent ahead and left behind. 13 In fact, man himself is keeping an eye on his state of affairs! 14 And even if he presents all the excuses he has, none will be listened to. 15 Move not your tongue concerning (the Quran, O Muhammad SAW) to make haste therewith. 16 Indeed, upon Us is its collection [in your heart] and [to make possible] its recitation. 17 But when We have promulgated it, follow thou its recital (as promulgated): 18 then it will be for Us to explain it. 19 NAY, but [most of] you love this fleeting life, 20 And neglect the hereafter. 21 On the Day of Judgment some faces will be bright, 22 and will be looking towards their Lord; 23 and upon that day faces shall be scowling, 24 Knowing that there will be made to befall them some great calamity. 25 No! When the soul has reached the collar bones 26 And it is cried. who can charm? 27 And he will realise that this is the parting. 28 and leg is intertwined with leg, 29 To your Lord, that Day, will be the procession. 30
