[Useless, though, will be his repentance: for [as long as he was alive] he did not accept the truth, nor did he pray [for enlightenment,] 31 but he cried it lies, and he turned away, 32 Then he strutted back to his people. 33 Woe to you, [O man!], yes, woe to you. 34 Again, Woe to thee, (O men!), yea, woe! 35 Does man, then, think that he is to be left to himself, to go about at will? 36 Was he not a sperm-drop spilled? 37 Then he became an 'Alaqa (a clot); then (Allah) shaped and fashioned (him) in due proportion. 38 From the human being, God made males and females in pairs. 39 Is not He (Allah Who does that), Able to give life to the dead? (Yes! He is Able to do all things). 40
