The human being does not want to believe the Truth, nor does he want to pray. 31 but, on the contrary, he gave the lie to the truth and turned away [from it,] 32 Then did he stalk to his family in full conceit! 33 Nearer to you (is destruction) and nearer, 34 Again, Woe to thee, (O men!), yea, woe! 35 Deemest man that he is to be left uncontrolled? 36 Was he not a Nutfah (mixed male and female discharge of semen) poured forth? 37 Then he was a clot of blood, then He created and formed him 38 fashioning out of him the two sexes, the male and the female? 39 Does He, then, not have the power to bring back the dead to life? 40
