[Useless, though, will be his repentance: for [as long as he was alive] he did not accept the truth, nor did he pray [for enlightenment,] 31 he belied the truth and turned away; 32 Then he went to his followers, walking away in haughtiness. 33 [And yet, O man, thine end comes hourly] nearer unto thee, and nearer 34 Again, woe unto thee, woe! 35 Does the human being think that he will be left uncontrolled? 36 Was he not just a drop of the semen that is discharged? 37 Then did he become a leech-like clot; then did (Allah) make and fashion (him) in due proportion. 38 And made him in two sexes, male and female. 39 Has not He, (the same), the power to give life to the dead? 40
