For he neither believed nor prayed, 31 But called the truth a lie and turned back, 32 then went arrogantly to his household. 33 Nearer to thee and nearer 34 Alas, the woe for you! 35 Does the human being think that he will be left uncontrolled? 36 Was he not once a [mere] drop of sperm that had been spilt, 37 Then he became an 'Alaqa (a clot); then (Allah) shaped and fashioned (him) in due proportion. 38 So created from him a pair, the male and female. 39 So will He, Who has done all this, not be able to revive the dead? 40
