Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
I CALL TO WITNESS those who are sent consecutively, 1 By the raging hurricanes, 2 By those which cause earth's vegetation to revive; 3 Then separate them, one from another, 4 By those who bring down the Reminder, 5 excusing or warning, 6 Assuredly, what ye are promised must come to pass. 7 So when the stars are obliterated 8 And when the heaven is opened 9 And when the mountains are carried away by wind. 10 And when the time of the Noble Messengers arrives. 11 to what day shall they be delayed? 12 For the Day of Judgement. 13 And what will convey unto thee what the Day of Decision is! - 14 Woe that Day to the deniers (of the Day of Resurrection)! 15 Have We not destroyed the earlier generations? 16 So shall We make later generations to follow them. 17 This is how We deal with the guilty. 18 Ruin is for the deniers on that day! 19 Did We not create you from a humble fluid, 20 which We then let remain in [the womb's] firm keeping 21 For a known extent. 22 Thus We have determined the stages of development and Our power to determine is excellent indeed. 23 Woe that day unto those who cry it lies! 24 Have We not made the earth to draw together to itself, 25 The living and the dead, 26 and have We not set on it proud, firm mountains, and given you sweet water to drink? 27 Woe, that Day, to the deniers. 28 Proceed to that which you denied. 29 Walk on to the covering having three branches, 30 wherein there is neither shade, nor freeing from the blazing flames 31 "Indeed it throws about sparks (huge) as Forts, 32 As though they were camels yellow tawny. 33 Woe on that day to the rejecters. 34 On that Day they will be speechless, 35 Nor shall they be permitted so that they might excuse themselves. 36 Woe on that Day to those who reject the truth! 37 This is the Day of Decision; We have gathered you and all the earlier men. 38 If you now have any conspiracy, carry it out on Me. 39 Ah woe, that Day, to the Rejecters of Truth! 40
