Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
By the (Winds) sent forth one after another (to man's profit); 1 by (the angels) as swift as blowing winds, 2 and by the scatterers scattering (rain) 3 Then separate them, one from another, 4 Then I swear by the angels who bring down the revelation, 5 excusing or warning, 6 Indeed, what you are promised is to occur. 7 Then the stars will lose their light. 8 And when the heaven is cleft asunder; 9 And when the mountains are carried away by wind. 10 And when the time of the Noble Messengers arrives. 11 to what day shall they be delayed? 12 For the Day of Decision. 13 Would that you knew about the Day of Judgment! 14 Woe on that day unto the beliers 15 Did We not destroy the earlier people? 16 And We shall let them be followed by those of later times: 17 Thus do We deal with the guilty. 18 Woe on that Day to those that give the lie to the Truth! 19 Did We not create you from an abject fluid? 20 The which We placed in a place of rest, firmly fixed, 21 for an appointed term? 22 Thus have We determined [the nature of man's creation]: and excellent indeed is Our power to determine [what is to be]! 23 On that day, woe would be upon those who have rejected the revelations of God! 24 Have We not made the earth (as a place) to draw together. 25 For the living and the dead among you? 26 And made therein mountains standing firm, lofty (in stature); and provided for you water sweet (and wholesome)? 27 Woe on that Day to those that give the lie to the Truth! 28 Depart to that you cried was lies! 29 “Move towards the shadow of the smoke having three branches.” 30 Neither shading nor availing against the flame. 31 that shoots sparks like dry faggots, 32 which seem as though they are yellow-coloured camels. 33 Woe on that Day to those that give the lie to the Truth! 34 That will be a Day when they shall not speak (during some part of it), 35 Nor will it be open to them to put forth pleas. 36 Woe on that Day to those who reject the truth! 37 'This is the Day of Decision; We have joined you with the ancients; 38 if you have a trick, try you now to trick Me!' 39 Woe on that Day to those that give the lie to the Truth! 40
